How do I buy a prompt?

Browse the marketplace, add the prompts you want to your cart — or hit Buy Now on a prompt page — and check out. Payment is processed securely by Stripe, and your prompts appear instantly in your Library, where you can view and re-download them any time. You can even buy without signing up first — see the next question.

Can I buy without creating an account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Go straight to checkout as a guest — you just enter your email address on the secure Stripe payment page. After payment, we automatically create a free account for that email and sign you in, so your purchase lands safely in your Library. If the email already belongs to an account, the purchase is added to that account's Library instead and you sign in as usual to access it. Either way, we email your receipt along with instructions for signing back in later. (Free prompts are claimed directly to a Library, so those do need you to sign in first.)

I bought without an account — how do I sign back in later?

With just your email — no password needed. On the login page, choose to sign in with a one-time code and we'll email a code to the address you used at checkout. Prefer a password? Set one any time using the link in your account email or the 'Forgot password' option on the login page.

What payment methods can I use?

Accepted Answer

We accept credit and debit cards and the other electronic payment methods shown at checkout, all processed securely through Stripe. Graded Prompts never stores your full card details.

What currency are prices shown in?

All prices are shown in US dollars (USD). If your card is billed in another currency, the exchange rate and any conversion fee are set by your payment provider, not by us.

Do I need my own ChatGPT, Midjourney, or other AI subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A prompt is the instruction set — you run it yourself on the AI platform it's built for (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Midjourney, or Stable Diffusion). Any subscription or usage fees those platforms charge are separate from your purchase and are your responsibility.

Which AI models does a prompt work with?

Every listing states the AI platform and model(s) the prompt is designed for. Check that you have access to that platform before buying — running a prompt on a different model can change the results.

How do I get my prompt after I buy it?

Accepted Answer

Instantly. Purchased prompts appear in your Library right away, where you can open and re-download them whenever you like, and we email an order confirmation as your receipt.

What exactly do I get when I buy a prompt?

Accepted Answer

The full prompt template — the exact text the seller wrote — with any fill-in variables explained, plus the seller's example inputs and outputs. Open it in your Library, fill in the variables for your use case, copy it with one click, and paste it into the AI platform it's built for.

Will my results look exactly like the example outputs?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily. Example outputs show what a prompt can produce — they aren't a guarantee of identical results. The same prompt can generate different outputs each time, which is normal for generative AI.

What does the Graded badge mean?

That the prompt passed our grading process before it was listed: a human reviewed it, it was tested on the real AI model it targets, and its example outputs were verified as genuine — not cherry-picked or edited. Read the full process in How We Grade Every Prompt.

Do you run sales or discounts?

Accepted Answer

From time to time we run site-wide promotions, such as percentage discounts or buy-X-get-Y-free offers. You never need a promo code — active offers are highlighted on the site while they run, and the discount is applied automatically at checkout.

What am I allowed to do with a prompt I buy?

Accepted Answer

Your purchase grants a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the prompt for both personal and commercial purposes. You can run it as many times as you like across your own projects, professional work, and client deliverables — for multiple clients and projects — without buying extra licences. Can I use prompts for commercial or client work?

Accepted Answer

Yes — commercial use is included, across as many paid projects and clients as you like. You can deliver the work you create with a prompt, but you may not share the prompt's text itself with clients or anyone else.

Question 15

What am I not allowed to do with a prompt?

Accepted Answer

You can't resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, or republish the prompt text anywhere, and you can't use prompts to train or fine-tune AI models or reverse-engineer them. In short: use the prompt freely, but don't pass the prompt itself on to others.

Who owns what I create with a prompt?

Accepted Answer

The licence covers your use of the prompt. Ownership and usage rights for the outputs you generate are governed by the terms of the AI platform you run it on (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Midjourney), not by Graded Prompts — so check that platform's terms, especially for commercial use.

Do I have to credit the seller or Graded Prompts?

No. There's no attribution requirement for using a prompt or the outputs you create with it.

Do I keep my prompts forever?

Accepted Answer

Your licence is perpetual, so you keep it as long as you keep your own copy. It ends only if you're refunded for that prompt or you materially breach the terms. Closing your account doesn't cancel licences you've already bought, but you'll lose access to re-download them — so save your own copies.

Question 19

What happens if a prompt I bought is later removed from the marketplace?

Your licence to a prompt you've already purchased isn't cancelled just because the listing comes down — you keep it as long as you've kept your own copy. You may lose the ability to re-download it from your Library, so we recommend saving a copy of prompts that matter to you. If something's wrong with a recent purchase, contact orders@gradedprompts.com.

Can I get a refund?

Prompts are digital, so sales are generally final — but we'll consider a refund if a prompt doesn't work as described: for example, it doesn't match its listing or examples, won't run on the AI platform specified, or was materially misrepresented. Normal output variation, a change of mind, or using it on a different model aren't covered.

How do I request a refund?

Email orders@gradedprompts.com within 3 days of purchase with your order ID, the prompt name, a description of the problem, and screenshots or share links of the output (plus the platform and model you used). You're welcome to message the seller first, but you don't have to.

How long does a refund take?

Accepted Answer

We acknowledge requests within 2 business days and aim to decide within 5 business days of receiving the full details. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Question 23

What's the 14-day cancellation right, and why did I waive it at checkout?

Accepted Answer

Consumers normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase. Because prompts are delivered instantly, by completing your purchase you consent to immediate access and acknowledge that this waives the 14-day cancellation right — that's what lets you use the prompt straight away. The order summary states this before you pay. It doesn't affect the refund rights above or your statutory rights if a prompt is faulty or not as described.

How do I set or change my password?

In Settings, under the Security tab. If you signed in with Google or your account was created at guest checkout, you won't have a password yet — set one there (or use 'Forgot password' on the login page) to enable email-and-password sign-in. You can always sign in with a one-time email code instead, so a password is optional.

How do I manage the emails you send me?

Marketing emails like our newsletter and platform updates include a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Order confirmations, receipts, and sign-in codes are transactional — they are only sent when something happens on your account.

Is my buyer account the same as a seller account?

Accepted Answer

You can use the same login on the buyer site and the seller portal, but they're separate roles — selling requires accepting the Seller Agreement on the portal first. Buying never requires a seller account.

Is my payment information safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Card payments are processed by Stripe under its own PCI-DSS-compliant security, and Graded Prompts never stores your full card number. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

No. We don't sell your personal data, run advertising, or use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Do you use cookies? Why isn't there a cookie banner?

We use only strictly necessary cookies — one to keep you signed in and one to hold your cart before you sign in — plus a short-lived security token. Because there are no analytics or advertising cookies, no consent banner is required.

What are my privacy rights, and who do I contact?

You can request access, correction, deletion, portability, and more. Email privacy@gradedprompts.com and we'll respond within one month. Our Privacy Policy has the full list, and the Subprocessors page lists the services that process data on our behalf.

Who am I buying from — the seller or Graded Prompts?

Graded Prompts is the merchant of record, so you buy from us, not directly from the seller. We process payment, issue your receipt, provide support, and handle refunds and disputes. The prompts themselves remain the intellectual property of their sellers.

How do I leave a review?

Open the prompt in your Library and choose to write a review — a star rating plus your comments. Only buyers can review, so every review comes from a verified purchase. Reviews are screened before they appear: most are published quickly, but some are held for a human moderator, so yours may take a little while to show up.

Are the reviews genuine?

We police reviews for authenticity. Reviews we find to be fake, paid-for and undisclosed, or otherwise misleading may be removed.
